Police in Jenda, Mzimba have arrested 13 individuals suspected of committing various crimes in the area around Jenda Trading Centre.
The police spokespeople Sub-Inspector MacFarlane Mseteka confirmed that the arrest followed a tip-off from concerned citizens.

"On August 3, 2024, a team of police detectives launched an intelligence-driven operation in response to numerous reports of home thefts, resulting in the apprehension of the suspects.
"The arrests have resolved several cases, including theft at Meru Filling Station, a break-in at Bumbunyika, and burglary and theft at Section 10. Additionally, several stolen household items have been recovered following the arrest," said Mseteka.
Mseteka said the suspects are set to appear in court once the paperwork is finalized.
