Community Health Rights Advocacy (CHERA) has bemoaned inadequate inclusive HIV/AIDS information towards the marginalized societies saying this hinders effective delivery of services to the key populations in the country.

The organization has been in the forefront of advocating for the rights of key populations in Malawi, particularly in the realm of HIV and AIDS services.

CHERA has worked tirelessly to ensure that these marginalized groups have access to accurate information, healthcare services, and a supportive environment.

CHERA Programs Manager Alex Kaomba, said this over the weekend during outreach clinic services targeting the key populations to ensure the marginalized groups have access to such services.

Kaomba said lack of information has been a significant hindrance to key populations in accessing HIV and AIDS services.

He said that CHERA's primary objective is to ensure that key populations have access to accurate information regarding HIV and AIDS prevention.

" CHERA believes that this is a fundamental right. By providing access to information, CHeRA aims to empower key populations to take control of their health and well-being," said Kaomba.

Kazomba said CHERA is also committed to ensuring that key populations are protected and feel safe when accessing healthcare services.

He said the organization follows all necessary procedures to guarantee the confidentiality and anonymity of their clients.

The Manager said the exercise is crucial in creating a supportive environment where key populations feel comfortable seeking help.

He said the organization is also building relationships with Healthcare Providers because CHERA recognizes the importance of building positive relationships between key populations and healthcare providers.

Among others, the organization works to ensure healthcare personnel are trained and equipped to provide inclusive and non-discriminatory services.
