Chitipa CCAP Praise team donates assorted items to the elderly worth K250,000

Chitipa CCAP English Praise team has Winded up Easter celebrations, death and resurrection by donating assorted valuables to vulnerable communities worth K250,000.

Ngonya: We felt duty bound to assist

The chairperson for the English praise team group, Richard Ngonya said they thought to take up the initiative to showcase the good gesture just as Jesus did during His mission.

“We thought this was a good day to demonstrate the love of Jesus and assist the vulnerable communities with this assorted Items.

"The vulnerable people and especially the elderly lack various basic necessities and we thought this could help them," said Ngonya.

However Ngonya pleaded with other stakeholders and well wishers to join hands in supporting the needy families.

Reveland shadreck Yagontha Munthali thanked the gesture by the Praise team saying the assistance will go along way to reach the gaps which the vulnerable persons were facing.

The donations include Salt,Sugar ,Matches and soap.
