Chitipa council hails MHEN for supporting children vaccinations

Chitipa district council has hailed the initiative by Malawi Health Equity Network (MHEN) for their efforts to support children's vaccination in the district.

This was revealed during a District Executive Committee meeting that involved various stakeholders this week.


The Chitipa District Hospital Administrator Clement Gonthi said the presence of Malawi Health Equity Network has boosted immunization among children in the district.


"The impact brought by MHEN through immunization is quite huge. We have boosted the immune system in children and learnt that with there is need to cope up with this initiative for the development of our district," said Gonthi.


Assistant Programs Officer for MHEN, Hannah Dzongo said she was excited that her organization has achieved such a milestone in the district.
