Chiefs and teachers from Neno south, over the weekend, visited Parliament in Lilongwe to appreciate the important role undertaken by Members of Parliament. in the August House.
Member of Parliament for Neno South, Mark Katsonga Phiri, brought with him teachers and chiefs from his constituency to appreciate how the house conduct business.
Speaking after the tour, Traditional Authority Symon, said as Chiefs they are happy to visit Parliament for the first time, saying it has helped to shape their mind as regards to how business is conducted in the August house.
“We are happy with the gesture by our Member of Parliament, and even back in our constituency, about the tremendous development he has done,” said Katsonga.
Commenting on the same, member of Parliament for Neno south, Mark katsonga said he is happy that now chiefs and other people from his constituency have seen how deliberations are done in Parliament.
" I will continue bringing people from my constituency to Parliament so that they understand how we best represent them in Parliament ," said Katsonga.
