Thyolo District National Initiative for Civic Education (NICE Trust) Director of Programmes, Moses Kaunda appealed to the youths to observe peace and tranquility in upcoming general election.

"As Malawians, peace and tranquility is the best medicine, as such we are giving youths advice on the dangers of being misled by political leaders to engage in political violence through sensitization meetings," he said.

He added that the youth should be accountable and responsible by realizing that they are all malawians despite political affiliations.

He then urged the youths who are not registered to register at National Registration Bureau (NRB) to cast their vote in 2025.

Group Village Headman Chibwana said he is geared to ensure the youths do not engage in any violence.

NICE Trust is conducting sensitization campaigns through rallies, meetings, using Public Address System, going to various markets in the district.
