During the award ceremony held on Tuesday at Mpinji Primary School, students received suitcases, notebooks, school supplies, soap, and cash prizes, with the amounts varying according to their performance.

Secretary General of Shire Highlands Development Trust through Edukans, Limbani Nsapato, explained that the initiative aimed to inspire both students and teachers to strive for academic excellence.

“We wanted to motivate the students so they continue to perform well in secondary school, with the hope they will progress to university. In addition to recognizing the students, we also wanted to encourage the teachers to work harder for even better results, leading to more awards in the future,” said Nsapato.
