Presidential aspirant Millward Tobias has unveiled a comprehensive manifesto, outlining his vision for transforming Malawi's economy and improving the lives of its citizens.

The manifesto, launched at a packed event, focuses on seven key areas: agriculture, tourism, job opportunities, health services, mines, electricity, and fuel.

In the agriculture sector, Tobias promises to increase productivity and profitability for farmers through the use of modern technology and irrigation systems.

He also plans to promote agricultural lime to reduce soil acidity and enhance fertility, leading to higher yields and better crop quality.

To boost tourism, Tobias aims to develop and promote Malawi's natural attractions, such as its national parks and lakes. He also plans to improve infrastructure, including roads and hotels, to make the country more appealing to visitors.

Job opportunities are a major focus of Tobias' manifesto. He promises to create jobs in various sectors, including agriculture, manufacturing, and construction. He also plans to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through training and funding initiatives.

In the health sector, Tobias pledges to improve the availability and quality of health services. He plans to increase funding for healthcare, recruit more health workers, and upgrade existing health facilities.

On mining, he promises to promote responsible mining practices, ensure fair compensation for local communities, and increase transparency in the sector.

To address the country's energy challenges, Tobias plans to increase investment in renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power. He also promises to improve the efficiency of the national grid and reduce power outages.
