The party President for Wodya Zake Alibe Mulandu, who is also the Vice President of Malawi, Dr Michael Usi has emphasized the need for government to implement programmes that are transparent and accountable to the people.

Speaking during whistle tour at Mzimba Boma this week, Dr Usi said good ideas are meaningless without effective implementation.
Usi highlighted that corruption and poor performance are major challenges facing the country, and those responsible must be held accountable.
He called for the dismissal of underperforming officials and the arrest of those involved in corruption, including foreigners who are involved in theft and corruption.
He cited examples of stalled projects, such as Mombera University, M'mbelwa Council, roads, and M'mbelwa Stadium, and emphasized the need for patriotic citizens and government officials to work together to ensure project completion.
Organizing Secretary for the party in Mzimba, Norman Nyirenda emphasized on strengthening the party.
"The President's message underscored the need for discipline and accountability in governance, and the importance of working towards tangible results",said Nyirenda.
